This activity is financed in part through an allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the City of St. Louis Community Development Administration.

SLACO Sustainable Neighborhoods 

​​Part I  the Sustainable Neighborhoods Program offers four issue based seminars designed to educate and challenge participants to rethink the neighborhood of the future.  


Seminars feature one or more subject matter experts delivering information on a wide range of topics related to neighborhood vitality.  


Seminars are free and are offered at multiple locations.  No special skills or education is needed to participate - just a desire to better your neighborhood.

SLACO's Sustainable Neighborhoods is a two part program that will provide you with the tools to make it happen. 

Part II of the program is Inspiration Lab offers ongoing workshops for creating a plan of action for a sustainable neighborhood project.
